I went to southern Arizona for Spring bloom. I was welcomed by an unusually heavy downpour. My tent site had several inches of standing water. But bad weather can mean great opportunities. So despite muddy trails and being drenched in the rain, I waited a couple days for a break in the weather and had only a few brief moments to capture the sunlit desert against a dark stormy sky.
