I was intrigued by the stalwart ponderosa amidst the sea of yellow aspens. I wanted to distill the scene to just color, shape and only a hint of realism. I created the painterly effect by moving my camera during exposure. There are stories here of growth, renewal, contrasts and more- told through the simplicity of shapes and forms against the backdrop of yellow hues.
