Full_Bow

On my way to the Grand Canyon I encountered a horrendous hail and rain storm. In spite of this I was excited knowing that such storms can provide drama at the canyon. I had to bush whack through some of the densest brush I've ever encountered to make it to the rim. I immediately started photographing a partial rainbow and then watched it transform for a moment into a full rainbow with bands of light emanating from the horizon. I quickly changed lenses- just in time to capture this amazing light show.
